About The Position

The Educator provides instruction and education to students, parents, and the community, following the required curriculum and helping learners acquire relevant skills. The role includes observing practice, offering positive or corrective feedback, assessing competency, and providing remediation when needed. The Educator also collaborates on educational programs and helps evaluate existing materials and programs to support high-quality education at Virtua. This per diem, part-time position is on-site in Voorhees. Childbirth classes are held at least two evenings per month, with evening and weekend hours. Candidates must be an RN with an active New Jersey state license or a Doula with a CBE certificate, and have childbirth and labor and delivery experience.

Requirements

Evidence of good organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in presentation techniques.
Good human relations skills.
Knowledge of adult learning and group dynamics.
High school graduation.
An active New Jersey state RN license or a CBE certificate as a Doula.
Childbirth and labor and delivery experience.
Appropriate certification.

Responsibilities

Provide education according to the required curriculum.
