About The Position

St William’s OSHC, Keperra is seeking passionate Casual Educators to join their vibrant service and help create meaningful experiences for school-aged children every day. The service cares for up to 195 children across Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care, providing a busy and engaging environment where children are encouraged to explore, play, build friendships, and thrive. Supported by a dedicated team of educators, you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine difference while working in a welcoming and community-focused setting. The role requires energy, creativity, and a passion for children's wellbeing, joining a team that values connection, collaboration, and quality care.

Requirements

Currently studying or completed Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services (or ACECQA equivalent)
Previous childcare experience
Current completion (or willingness to complete prior to commencement) of mandatory National Child Training (via Geckko)
A valid Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
Passion for supporting school-aged children in a play-based learning environment
Understanding of (or willingness to learn) the National Quality Framework, My Time, Our Place, and relevant legislation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Current First aid and CPR certificate
