About Goodstart Lara: 122-place childcare centre located in a commercial/residential area near schools, shops, and community facilities Easy drop-off and pick-up due to main road access and proximity to public transport Provides care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years Uses the Storypark platform to keep families involved in learning programs Experienced and stable team of educators, many with long-term tenure Some staff have been at the centre since its opening in 1994 Emphasis on sensory and play-based learning environments Large outdoor play area with natural elements Features include sandpits, mud and bark areas, vegetable patches, bike tracks, and shaded yards Sustainability activities such as worm farms and gardening projects Pet turtle to encourage responsibility and care

Requirements

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Current VIC Working with Children Check

  • Work alongside Senior Educators and our Educational Leader to craft and enhance exceptional learning programs for our children.
