About The Position

St Pius Outside School Hours Care in Banyo is looking for an experienced and qualified Educator to join their team in a permanent part-time role of 15 hours per week. They are specifically seeking OSHC-experienced educators who hold a current qualification in Children's Services. This role is best suited to those already working in the sector rather than those currently studying. Located on the grounds of St Pius Catholic Primary School, the service supports families in the Banyo and Nudgee community, providing before school care, after school care, and vacation care for up to 150 children. The service has a dedicated OSHC space and access to school facilities, including an oval, hall, and undercover areas. Casual educator positions are also available at the same pay rate plus a 25% casual loading, offering flexibility and variety in hours.

Requirements

• Hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services or an ACECQA approved equivalent — a current qualification is essential for this role
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated experience working in an OSHC setting is highly regarded
• Current or up-to-date Child Protection training
