Under the supervision of the home-based services supervisor, the family development educator shall be responsible for conducting weekly home visits, developing and implementing lesson plans, providing comprehensive services as outlined in the Head Start Program Performance Standards, meeting program-required screening and assessment timelines, collecting and tracking medical information, providing socializations and fieldtrips, offering case management and counseling, assessing and maintaining Family Partnership Plans, participating in case conferencing, referring families to community services, attending required meetings and training, developing and implementing activities for workshops and family nights, monitoring child attendance, completing program data, participating in recruitment, and performing other assigned duties.
