Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre requires a permanent full-time Educational Psychologist. The position can be located in Saskatoon, Kenaston, Regina or Moose Jaw. Sask DLC is a Treasury Board Crown Corporation, created to deliver high-quality and equitable online learning programs to students across the province. Sask DLC’s head office is located in Kenaston, with an administrative office in Regina, and regional campuses located in Estevan, Kenaston, La Ronge, Moose Jaw, Meadow Lake, Nipawin, Prince Albert, Regina, Saskatoon, Swift Current and Yorkton. Reporting to the Superintendent of Student Supports, the Educational Psychologist provides a comprehensive range of psychological services to support students whose learning, mental health, social-emotional functioning, or developmental needs may impact their success in school. Working within a provincial online learning environment, the Educational Psychologist plays a key role in promoting equitable access to learning and student well-being through a balance of psychological assessment, consultation, and system capacity-building. The Psychologist exercises independent professional judgment in accordance with professional standards while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to help identify barriers, inform educational programming, and support positive outcomes for students, families, and staff. This role also contributes to the ongoing development of innovative, responsive psychological services within Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre.
