About The Position
The State University of New York (SUNY) System Administration, located in Albany, NY is searching for a graduate student to support a variety of projects for the Office of the Provost. This is a great opportunity to gain experience working in a professional environment under the guidance of experienced practitioners and will have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to ongoing initiatives.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a graduate or post-graduate program at a SUNY school.
- Strong technical proficiency across the full Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficient in gathering, organizing, and evaluating data sets.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills with precise editing capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Support the Office of the Provost by assisting with research, advocacy, and analysis of educational related policies.
- Monitor local, state, or federal education bills and policy changes.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative policy research and literature reviews.
- Translate complex academic research or legal texts into clear fact sheets, briefs, and memos.
