About The Position

Wayside Youth & Family Support Network is hiring for a creative and supportive individual to work in our community focused Family Resource Center in Framingham! We provide a supportive culture that is team-focused and places value on healthy work dynamics. This role involves working closely with local school districts to assist family members in navigating educational and school-related concerns and needs. The Educational Liaison will serve as a resource to families, schools, and the community to improve student attendance and graduation rates, reduce truancy, and identify systemic issues. Additionally, the role ensures that family members experiencing CRA-related issues are connected to appropriate services and is responsible for negotiating and implementing special events and interagency activities involving schools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Knowledge of navigating the CRA and IEP processes.
  • Competency in various technology platforms.
  • Driving in the community is a requirement of this position; please ensure you have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all family members experiencing CRA related issues are connected to services that meet their individual needs.
  • Be responsible for negotiating and implementing special events and other interagency activities that involve schools.
