Requirements

Strong communication skills
Self-motivated
Patient and willing to problem solve
Ability to easily connect with children and their parents

Responsibilities

Interpret classroom instruction, discussions, school events, meetings, and assemblies for Deaf/Hard‑of‑Hearing (D/HH) students.
Voice the student's signed communication accurately and neutrally for teachers, staff, and peers
Support student participation in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and other school‑sponsored activities.
Convey important auditory environmental cues (bells, alarms, announcements) to students.
Assist with behavior support plans and model appropriate communication behaviors when needed
