About The Position

MindLink Resources LLC is seeking skilled Educational Interpreters fluent in English and at least one additional language, including Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian, Portuguese, Amharic, or Tigrinya. The role supports onsite educational appointments in Edmonds, Washington, helping bridge communication gaps and support students’ educational experiences. Interpreters facilitate communication among students, parents, educators, and school staff, including during IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and student support sessions. Requirements

Fluency in English and at least one additional language.
Strong interpersonal and active listening skills.
Ability to remain neutral, professional, and impartial in all settings.
Reliable transportation and ability to report to onsite locations in Edmonds, Washington.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in educational, medical, or community interpreting is preferred.
Knowledge of educational terminology, IEP processes, and school systems is a plus.
Interpreter certification, such as RID, BEI, or a state-recognized credential, is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide accurate and culturally sensitive interpretation during onsite educational appointments.
Facilitate clear communication between students, parents, educators, and school staff.
Interpret for IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and student support sessions.
Maintain strict confidentiality and professional ethics throughout assignments.
Adapt communication style to meet the needs of diverse student populations.
Accurately convey tone, intent, and meaning across language barriers in real time.
Coordinate with school administrators and MindLink staff to ensure smooth appointment logistics.
