Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited university in Special Education or equivalent.
- A current Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification.
- At least one year as an Educational Diagnostician.
- Proficiency in computer-based special education systems.

- Bilingual preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Evaluations: Perform psycho-educational assessments to determine students’ eligibility and need for specialized services.
- Communicate Findings: Review evaluation findings with parents and district staff, providing clear and compassionate communication.
- Develop Interventions: Collaborate with teams to create evidence-based interventions that enhance student performance, participation, and access to education.
- Support Team: Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant discussions to ensure special education programs meet every student’s needs effectively.
