This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that may include a partially remote work location, consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station. The Educational Developer for Teaching and Learning will have primary responsibilities in the Teaching and Learning unit and will report to the Senior Educational Developer for Teaching and Learning. The focus of the position is to help plan, develop, implement, lead, and assess programs and resources; strong foundational skills in areas like consultation and workshop development are essential. The Educational Developer for Teaching and Learning will offer consultations and lead workshops, programs, and events in collaboration with other staff, faculty, and campus partners to strengthen and expand the Center’s commitment to inclusive, equitable, engaging, and evidence-based teaching. This position contributes to the overall mission of the Center for Faculty Excellence ( CFE ) by participating in meetings, retreats, and working groups to support the Director and center-wide initiatives; and representing the CFE in various campus committees and roles.
