About The Position

Bridge the gap between hearing challenges and academic success! We are seeking a highly collaborative Educational Audiologist to join our Cross Country Education team in a hybrid/on-site role supporting K–12 students for the fall 2026 semester in Cambridge, MN.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) or Ph.D. in Audiology
  • Master's Degree in Audiology accepted if earned prior to August 30, 2007
  • Active Minnesota Department of Health Audiologist License, or eligibility to obtain licensure through the ASLP-IC Interstate Licensure Compact
  • Experience fitting, programming, and troubleshooting hearing assistive technology and FM/remote microphone systems
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from ASHA or board certification through the ABA

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a school-based, educational, or pediatric audiology setting

Responsibilities

  • Program, fit, manage, and troubleshoot school-owned Hearing Assistive Technology (HAT), including remote microphone, Phonak Roger, and FM systems paired with students' personal hearing devices or cochlear implants.
  • Conduct classroom sound evaluations and recommend acoustic modifications, such as soundfield speakers or strategic seating, to improve speech clarity.
  • Conduct functional listening evaluations and translate audiological findings into IEP/504 goals, accommodations, and classroom recommendations.
  • Provide targeted coaching to classroom teachers, staff, and parents on equipment troubleshooting while fostering independent self-advocacy skills in K–12 students.
