About The Position

Educational Associate 1's work with students by providing supervision during lunch and/or recess. Qualified candidates will provide supervision, behavior and transition support to individuals or groups of students.

Requirements

• Must obtain ODE Educational Aide Permit, First Aide and CPR Certification.
• Ability to use technology to complete on-line training modules as required by District Policy and ORC.
• Be able to actively engage with students in a variety of activities sitting, standing, walking.
• Must possess sufficient physical ability to perform necessary lifting, lift and carry 50 lbs.

• Experience working with children in an unstructured educational setting.
• Understanding of behavior supports.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Must be able to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision during lunch and/or recess.
• Provide behavior and transition support to individuals or groups of students.
• Actively engage with students in a variety of activities sitting, standing, walking.
• Actively supervise small and large groups of students during unstructured activities to include lunch and recess.
• Foster positive relationships and personal connections with individual students.
