About The Position

Grants Pass School District No. 7 is seeking an Educational Assistant for Redwood Elementary School. This position works 3.75 hours per day for 182 days per year, from August to June. The district is committed to a learning community focused on excellence and success for all students, empowering them to reach their potential and become responsible citizens.

Requirements

• Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade.
• Two years of college study, OR an associate’s or higher degree, OR a passing score on the District reading, writing, and math assessment.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Knowledge of and experience with computers.
• Knowledge of business English, spelling and mathematics.
• Some knowledge of office practices and procedures.
• Type at a working rate speed.
• Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with fellow employees.
• Ability to get along well with students.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual and biliterate in Spanish preferred.
