About The Position

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for professionals experienced in education technology, LMS administration, instructional design, learning analytics, educational product workflows, assessment design, and structured ed-tech documentation. This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on structured education technology review, learning systems workflows, educational product documentation, assessment materials, engagement reporting, integration planning, and high-quality project execution. Selected professionals will apply their ed-tech expertise to review realistic education technology scenarios, evaluate documentation requirements, prepare structured written outputs, and support accurate, evidence-based learning systems workflow tasks.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in education technology, LMS administration, instructional design, learning engineering, educational product management, learning analytics, assessment design, district technology support, higher education technology, or related roles
  • Experience in one or more areas such as LMS administration, ed-tech integration, educational product workflows, adaptive learning, assessment design, learning analytics, instructional design, district-level ed-tech, student information systems, accessibility, or student-data compliance
  • Familiarity with tools and systems such as Google Classroom, PowerSchool, Infinite Campus, Google Forms, Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, Schoology, Clever, ClassLink, or similar education technology platforms
  • Comfort reading and preparing ed-tech artifacts such as product specs, learning-design documents, assessment rubrics, engagement reports, integration plans, PD materials, implementation notes, and platform documentation
  • Strong analytical thinking and written communication skills
  • Ability to translate education technology workflows into clear, structured task documentation
  • A degree or professional background in education technology, instructional design, learning sciences, education, curriculum development, educational leadership, data analytics, product management, or a related field is helpful
  • Equivalent practical experience in LMS administration, ed-tech product work, instructional design, school technology workflows, or learning analytics is also highly relevant

Nice To Haves

  • Experience at an ed-tech company, R1 university, K-12 district, state education agency, higher education institution, or learning platform organization
  • Familiarity with FERPA, COPPA, WCAG, Section 508, student information systems, LMS integrations, rostering, accessibility review, or assessment workflows
  • Experience preparing or reviewing product specs, learning-design docs, assessment rubrics, engagement reports, integration plans, PD materials, or implementation guides
  • Certifications or training in instructional design, LMS administration, accessibility, learning analytics, ed-tech product management, or education data systems are helpful
  • Strong attention to detail in learning, compliance, platform, and documentation-heavy education environments

Responsibilities

  • Review education technology scenarios involving LMS administration, classroom platforms, student information systems, integration plans, rostering workflows, and digital learning tools
  • Evaluate LMS and ed-tech materials against source documents, platform requirements, user needs, accessibility expectations, and implementation criteria
  • Support structured review of Google Classroom, PowerSchool, Infinite Campus, Google Forms, learning platform workflows, and integration documentation
  • Identify missing information, workflow gaps, data issues, and expected ed-tech review outcomes
  • Review educational product scenarios involving product specs, learning-design documents, assessment rubrics, instructional materials, adaptive-learning workflows, and professional development content
  • Evaluate learning materials against stated learning objectives, assessment criteria, instructional design requirements, and documented standards
  • Support structured review of educational product plans, learning engineering materials, PD resources, assessment designs, and engagement reports
  • Prepare clear written explanations for ed-tech and learning design decisions based on source materials and verifiable criteria
  • Review learning analytics scenarios involving engagement reports, assessment outputs, platform usage data, student progress summaries, and education program metrics
  • Evaluate ed-tech workflows against student-data requirements, accessibility standards, FERPA, COPPA, WCAG, Section 508, and documented implementation needs
  • Translate education technology workflows into clear task documentation, review criteria, and structured written outputs
  • Maintain accuracy, consistency, and professional judgment across submitted work
