About The Position

Kiddie Academy of Kenmore is seeking a Program Supervisor | Education Coordinator with significant experience in Early Childhood Education to join their management team. This role is responsible for managing overall program quality, mentoring teachers in curriculum implementation, and assisting the Director with team management. The ideal candidate is motivated, upbeat, passionate about Early Childhood Education, and enjoys mentoring teachers and implementing a quality program. The position operates within an environment with enhanced health and safety protocols, and is ideal for someone motivated by children's smiles and parent satisfaction.

Requirements

Minimum two (2) years of full time experience in managing center-based programs in an Program Manager, Assistant Director or similar management role.
A thorough knowledge of WA Licensing regulations (WACs) for child care centers and a great understanding of developmentally-appropriate practices.
Must have at least an AA degree in child care or management, or related field.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Action oriented, organized, strategic thinker, focused on getting the right things done.

Responsibilities

Managing the overall program quality.
Working with teachers, helping with assessments.
Actively mentoring teachers in the implementation of our developmentally appropriate curriculum.
Assisting the Director in other aspects of managing a passionate team of childcare professionals.
