The role requires facilitating the learning experience in an exemplary manner, adhering to adult education principles, demonstrating instructor presence, stimulating discussion, and fostering learner engagement. The instructor will also develop engaging instructional resources, assess and evaluate assignments with timely feedback, use Brightspace as the primary instructional tool, and provide input on the ongoing relevance of course resources. Liaising with the Adult Education Director, Program Committee, and other staff is also part of the duties. Adherence to mandatory training such as AODA, Health and Safety, FIPPA, and Academic Integrity is required.
