About The Position

Thyme Care is a market-leading value-based oncology care enabler that partners with health plans, providers, and employers to deliver better outcomes and lower costs for people with cancer. Our model combines high-touch human support with technology and AI to connect caregivers, oncologists, health plans, and employers. We aim to make cancer care more human and accessible. This role directly supports training and enablement for the Enrollment Team, who are the first point of contact for prospective members, guiding them through the enrollment process. Enrollment Specialists educate patients about Thyme Care’s services, enroll them into the program, verify eligibility and insurance, ensure accurate documentation, and coordinate handoffs to clinical teams. This position is crucial for developing and maintaining quality standards in training and enablement for new and existing Enrollment team members. It also involves partnering with the Quality team to identify trends and training needs to improve enablement materials and coaching. The role reports into the Manager of Quality, Training, and Enablement for the Enrollment Team.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in training delivery or staff development.
  • Experience developing and delivering both virtual instructor-led training and self-paced module programs.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal), including public speaking and facilitation.
  • Strong tech skills and ability to learn new tools quickly and autonomously.
  • Ability to build high quality, polished training materials including presentation slides and written job aids.
  • Comfort with data, and ability to both manipulate and analyze data to evaluate training effectiveness using metrics and dashboards.
  • Exceptional project management skills and ability to coordinate multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, Zoom and Slack.
  • Must be located within the lower 48 United States due to contractual limitations with accessing PHIs.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Professional in Training Management (CPTM) or similar training certification.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance standards.
  • Understanding of healthcare terminology, patient enrollment workflows, and call center/customer service operations.
  • Experience in using and building in a Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate, etc.).
  • Proficiency in adult instruction, time and classroom management, and adapting to diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities

  • Developing training content for virtual and live sessions.
  • Facilitating live training sessions.
  • Managing the administrative and operational logistics of training.
  • Creating training materials, resources, and job aids.
  • Ensuring team members have the information needed to perform their jobs effectively and stay updated on product updates, workflow changes, and new client launches.
  • Focusing on the training needs of the Enrollment Team, including onboarding and continuing education.
  • Tracking team members' training module completion, progress, and understanding by assessing interactions against quality standards.
  • Attending QA calibration sessions to identify opportunities for new or improved training materials and sessions.
  • Scheduling additional time as needed to align on priorities and next steps.
