The individual will function as the owner of the program's development and delivery, formulating educational plans and training processes. Key responsibilities include needs assessment, development, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs, as well as developing and implementing an education curriculum that supports onboarding and ongoing competencies for employees. Requirements

  • Master's degree and 4 years of training experience required
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

  • Designs, plans, conducts and evaluates quality based education, competencies and training for an organization-wide program.
  • Functions as the owner of the program's development and delivery.
  • Formulates educational plans and training processes.
  • Responsible for the needs assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of a number of educational programs.
  • Develops and implements an education curriculum that supports onboarding, as well as ongoing competencies, for appropriate employees.
  • Develops and oversees progressive, ongoing education programs for an organization by utilizing current literature.
  • Makes recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Monitors and evaluates results of critical program aspects, including curriculum evaluation.
  • Identifies gaps for improvement and leads the development and implementation of solutions.
  • Reviews program metrics to determine efficacy.
  • Makes recommendations and implements curriculum improvements to meet program goals.
  • Establishes or updates existing standards, creating new policy/process/procedures as needed.
  • Communicates to team members routinely to develop common understanding and expectations for employees.
  • Communicates progress to appropriate managers, team leads and/or supervisors using standardized evaluation tools.
  • Reviews and considers additional educational initiatives for inclusion as they arise from literature, external or internal regulations/policies.
  • Performs regular site and co-visits to support employees, utilizing skills such as motivational interviewing, shared decision making and comprehensive assessments.
  • Participates in team development of processes to support planning, policy adherence and other management initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.
