About The Position

York General is seeking an Education Coordinator to join their Med/Surg; Education department. This role is responsible for coordinating various learning systems and training programs for nursing staff and providers, ensuring competency and effective utilization of systems and equipment. The coordinator will also provide end-user support and collaborate with various departments to meet training needs.

Requirements

Knowledge of computer hardware, software applications, Epic systems, Microsoft Office products, and relevant web-based technologies
Strong customer service, training, presentation, facilitation, and communication skills
Ability to analyze and resolve problems, adapt to change, and effectively manage multiple priorities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively while building positive relationships
Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nebraska
Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, TNCC, PALS
At least three years of RN experience is required

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN), Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred
Experience facilitating adult learning, curriculum development, educational program coordination, or Epic/electronic health record (EHR) training preferred

Responsibilities

Coordinate Healthstream Learning System for Nursing staff and the Catalyst Learning System for Epic training.
Maintain the RQI systems for BLS, ACLS, NRP and PAL's.
Coordinate the signing up, scheduling of TNCC, NRP, PALS for staff and providers.
Work closely with Nursing Directors to set up Nursing orientation, ongoing competencies and drills to promote skill learning.
Coordinate any new equipment training for our nursing department throughout the organization.
Deliver Epic training programs for end users using curriculum developed by Principle Trainers to support role-based competency and effective system utilization.
Coordinates, prepares, and administers Epic training activities.
Provides end user support by answering questions, resolving training-related issues, collecting learner feedback, offering at-the-elbow assistance, and delivering refresher education.
Collaborates with Principle Trainers, department leaders, and Information Systems to coordinate activities, communicate training needs, and support organizational efficiency.
