About The Position
Our Head Start program is seeking an Education Coordinator to oversee classroom quality, mentor teaching staff, and elevate our inclusive learning environments. This role is ideal for someone with a background in behavior analysis or sensory-motor development who wants to shape early childhood curricula, support neurodiverse learners, and coach teachers in real-time. The position is for 10 months, 40 hours per week, typically from early August to mid-June.
Requirements
- A degree in ECE or Elementary Education and experience teaching preschool age children is preferred, but other degrees may qualify.
- Valid driver's license
- Great organization
- Strong leadership skills
- Knowledgeable about early child development
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in behavior analysis or behavior therapy, or OT
- Bilingual in Spanish
