About The Position

Bilingual Spanish speaking tutors will provide 6th grade with ELA & Math, 7th and 8th grade with Math support. The program will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. As an Education Champion, you'll provide one-on-one and small group tutoring in core subjects like Math, Reading, Writing, Social Studies, Science, and Regents exam prep. You’ll collaborate with teachers and school leaders to deliver engaging, personalized learning strategies that help students thrive academically and personally.

Requirements

• Bilingual Spanish speaking.
• Available to work Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
• Degree-seeking student or graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA in Education or a relevant field.
• Available to work 10-35 hours per week at assigned school(s).
• Passion for Learning: Dedicated to supporting academic and personal success, especially for underserved students.
• Collaborative Spirit: Ready to work alongside teachers, school leaders, and fellow tutors to maximize student success.
