The Education and Workforce Development (EWD) Program Lead will work with the BioMADE Program Team and be responsible for the full spectrum of activities associated with the EWD portfolio and Program Management. These responsibilities will range from conception of program calls to management of the portfolio of BioMADE EWD projects. The EWD Program Lead will be responsible for oversight of reviewing and shepherding responses to project calls, and for justifying projects selected for funding. The EWD lead will work closely with the internal BioMADE team, U.S. government program management team, and BioMADE members, particularly with academic and non-profit tier members including Technical and Community Colleges. Candidates who have experience managing government, industrial or multi-institution programs are encouraged to apply. BioMADE is a non-profit Department of War-catalyzed Manufacturing Innovation Institute (MII), part of the Manufacturing USA network, and works closely with the DoW, academia and industry to identify and advance projects beneficial to national security while expanding the domestic bioindustrial manufacturing base.
