About The Position

The Education and Training Director is responsible for processing and coordinating the Education & Training Services function. Ensures that all OMS Standards directly under management are met and in compliance with the National Office goals of the Center. Reviews weekly, monthly, and annual reports and verifies accuracy. Screens and monitors placement information. Evaluates performance of staff. Assists in the coordination of linkages and lead by visiting agencies, business, and other job-related resources. Monitors statistical reports to evaluate and assess weaknesses, strengths and develop comprehensive annual plans. Ensures case documentation is up-to-date and available for Department of Labor and Corporate audits. Job Corps is the largest nationwide residential career training program in the country and has been operating for more than 60 years. The program helps eligible young people ages 16 through 24 complete their high school education, trains them for meaningful careers, and assists them with obtaining employment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or work-related field preferred.
  • Two years of experience, one year in a supervisory capacity preferred.
  • Prefer Job Corps experience.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferred.
  • Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.
