About The Position

The Manager of Education and Community Programs serves as the bridge between high-level organizational planning and the on-the-ground delivery of educational programs across senior programming, academic enrichment, workforce development, and afterschool initiatives. This role ensures that all programs operate smoothly, safely, and in alignment with community needs — while maintaining high standards of program quality, staffing, and educational impact. Requirements

  • Master's degree in a related field
  • 5+ years of program management experience
  • Experience working with youth, seniors, or workforce development programs
  • Experience supervising staff and managing budgets
  • Familiarity with JAG programming or career coaching

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and support others in designing community programs, with a primary focus on afterschool programming (Kidztyme), senior programming, and academic enrichment (Girls First).
  • Ensure adherence to Sanneh program planning protocols and systems.
  • Ensure high-quality pedagogical approaches that meet educational and program quality standards.
  • Build and maintain a digital library and program content repository.
  • Directly deliver afterschool educational programming, including Kidztyme.
  • Coordinate facility use in partnership with the Director.
  • Manage program registration and community recruitment in collaboration with the Director.
  • Administer evaluation protocols including surveys, program observations, and workforce rubrics.
  • Provide direct supervision to ensure safety protocols are consistently followed.
  • Supervise Conway-based workforce staff; conduct weekly check-ins with Right Track supervisors, VISTAs, and third-party staff members.
  • Supervise program leaders and frontline program staff.
  • Manage timesheets and conduct performance reviews for Right Track and workforce staff.
  • Organize monthly mentorship and training opportunities for workforce employees.
  • Serve as a JAG (Jobs for America's Graduates) Specialist, providing career coaching, mentorship, and advocacy for youth.
  • Monitor expenditures for equipment and supplies, ensuring programs remain within annual budget allocations.
  • Write program catalogs and collaborate with the marketing team to promote programs to the community.
  • Ensure all facilities meet health, safety, and risk management codes and organizational policies.
  • Handle community member complaints and special requests in a professional and timely manner.
  • Provide front desk support at either building as needed.
