EDR Busser Part Time
About The Position
Under general supervision, the EDR Busser performs activities in support of the property’s food outlets and may work interchangeably as business needs dictate. The role provides customer service and supports restaurant operations by cleaning and resetting tables, assisting servers, maintaining dining and work areas, stocking supplies, and following health and safety requirements. The position is part-time at Sandia Resort Hotel in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with a stated hourly salary range of $12.92 to $14.54. Work hours may change, and overtime may be required with management approval. Duties are primarily indoors, with some outdoor activity as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Strong commitment to the organization.
- Ability to deal effectively with the general public and casino staff.
- Maintain the highest standard of personal hygiene.
- Knowledge of minimum temperature requirements for food and drink preservation.
- Knowledge of Tribal, Federal, State, and local sanitary regulations regarding preparation, maintenance, storage, and sales of food and drink products.
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds, as stated under required qualifications.
- Able to move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented.
- Available to work weekends and holidays.
- Must successfully pass a stringent background investigation.
- Must complete post-offer, pre-employment, and random drug screening.
- Must successfully complete the New Mexico Food Handlers course upon hire.
- Physical activities include balancing, climbing, crawling, crouching, feeling, grasping, hearing, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, running, seeing, walking, sitting, standing, stooping, and talking.
- The physical requirements section also states the ability to lift 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently, with demonstration of this ability required.
- Must be able to work long hours under stressful conditions.

Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and help establish a restaurant service experience that is “Far from Ordinary.”
- Clean tables thoroughly within five minutes after guests depart and reset them promptly and completely.
- Assist servers by pre-bussing tables and providing beverage service as assigned.
- Participate in Daily Stand-Up Meetings and understand property communications.
- Complete required computer-assisted training in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining and work areas.
- Transport trash to designated disposal areas.
- Keep assigned areas stocked and organized.
- Transport clean and soiled dishes to appropriate areas.
- Follow applicable health and safety regulations.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned.
