•$3,200 - $4,000•Remote

About The Position

This is a fully remote, long-term independent contractor opportunity for an Editorial Designer to own the design and production of PIM Magazine from concept through final delivery. The magazine is the publication of the PIM (Personal Injury Mastermind) podcast brand, led by Chris Dreyer, Founder and CEO of Rankings.io. Working closely with the Creative Manager and editorial team, the designer will establish the visual direction for each issue, develop feature concepts, design layouts, and execute a polished publication. The role calls for deep editorial-design expertise in typography, pacing, hierarchy, storytelling, imagery, and cohesive publication design—not simply placing supplied content into templates. The designer will also support select long-form and editorial-focused projects outside the magazine when capacity allows. The opportunity is structured as an independent contractor engagement. The contractor invoices a monthly retainer of $3,200–$4,000 USD and is responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations in their country of residence. Contractors must reside in an eligible country; the posting excludes Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Russia, Belarus, and the Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions. Candidates need strong English communication skills and availability for scheduled collaboration during US Central or Eastern Time hours. Contractors accessing Rankings.io systems and client data must maintain Huntress endpoint security software for the duration of the engagement under the Contractor Services Agreement. This requirement does not give Rankings.io remote access to or control over contractor devices.
