Turing is seeking an experienced editorial professional to work on projects that evaluate and improve AI using editorial expertise and communication skills. No prior AI experience is required. The work is intended to help participants learn how AI can enhance editing workflows, improve content quality, and optimize publishing operations. The role involves designing and solving real-world editorial and publishing scenarios to test AI reasoning; writing structured examples covering grammar correction, tone alignment, structural editing, and content refinement; evaluating AI responses for accuracy, editorial quality, and professional standards; and collaborating with AI researchers on editing, writing tone, and publishing conventions. This is a freelance contractor assignment in a fully remote environment. Projects are approximately one month long, with the possibility of extension; the engagement may potentially be full-time. Compensation varies by project. Candidates must not provide confidential or proprietary information, trade secrets, internal organizational data, specific client information, or material that would violate confidentiality obligations.
