About The Position

POD Marketing is a full-service digital marketing agency that specializes in specific industries. They are seeking highly skilled and motivated Contracted Workers to join their team. As a Contracted Worker, you will have full flexibility in your work hours, as long as you meet the deadlines for assigned tasks, and the freedom to work from anywhere in the world. The contracted editor role is for a professional who understands the technicalities of writing and the need to adapt rules for good digital content. You will review content to spot typos, tonal inconsistencies, and factual errors, providing direct feedback to the team and noting areas for improvement. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, receptive to feedback, comfortable explaining complex concepts, and kind yet clear in their feedback. A strong preference for the Oxford comma is essential. Compensation for this position is based on a per-project rate.

Requirements

• An English degree (or directly relevant diploma)
• Mastery of North American English
• Attention to detail
• Experience as an editor
• Strong communication skills
