About The Position

This position is for an Editor for the 2025-2026/27 term, starting as of June 5, 2026. The role involves editing news packages, VO's, and other projects for broadcast, requiring good judgment for news stories and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, are expected. Proficiency with Avid Media Composer or similar non-linear editing systems is necessary. Other duties may be assigned, and not all essential functions may be described in this posting.

Requirements

• Knowledge and experience working with Avid Media Composer or other non-linear editing systems
• A valid driver’s license is required

Responsibilities

• Editing of news packages, VO’s and other projects for broadcast
• Possess good judgment for editing news stories
• Work well under pressure
• Meet newsroom deadlines
• Work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
• Work with Avid Media Composer or other non-linear editing systems
• Other duties as assigned
