About The Position

This position is responsible for editing content for broadcast, digital and social platforms. Edit a variety of content including features, highlights and promotional elements. Support post efforts of the UFC Branded Content team. Post-produce and manage edit schedules and timelines. Work with producers to create holistic project execution strategy. Work well with others in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Manage and mentor junior team members. Performs other tasks, projects, and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years editing experience on both short-form and long-form projects for linear television and/or digital and/or social.
• Strong grasp of the latest editing techniques and visual trends.
• Proficient in HD workflow.
• Proficient in The Adobe Suite.
• Solid technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines.
• Ability to maintain discretion and confidential information.
• Working knowledge of basic administrative office computer programs, on Mac and Windows PC workstations.
• High School diploma or equivalent GED required.

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated proficiency in motion graphics.
• Experience working for an Ad agency, post-production company or creative team.
• Experience with 3D modeling and animation.
• College degree preferred.
• Experience in a brand/client facing environment.
• Experience in sports content creation.
• Knowledge of MMA.
