The eDiscovery Consultant is a project management role supporting AlixPartners’ eDiscovery practice. The role helps clients resolve litigation and investigations by developing efficient, defensible strategies for collecting and analyzing data. Work spans the eDiscovery lifecycle, including preservation, collection, processing, review, and production, using industry-standard software and custom solutions. The position is based in New York, Los Angeles, Washington, DC, Boston, Dallas, or Chicago, and follows a hybrid work model combining in-person work at a client site or AlixPartners office with remote work. Travel is part of the role, with frequency varying according to client, team, and individual circumstances. Paid relocation is not available. The consultant establishes eDiscovery protocols and standards, organizes and verifies case-critical data, advises clients on collection and retention practices, and manages large datasets. The role also involves client communication, quality control, reporting, presentations, and training professional staff. The position requires the ability to work full time in office and remote environments and to work outside normal business hours when project needs arise.
