About The Position

The Executive Development & International Financial Specialist (EDIFS) acts as a liaison between Mayo Clinic and patients meeting criteria for EDI services. The EDIFS is responsible for coordinating, facilitating and overseeing the patient experience and performing related administrative tasks. The EDIFS assists all EDI patients with billing, insurance and coverage issues, authorization, and financial concerns. This position is responsible for helping all EDI patients understand their financial obligations and provide a mechanism of support for the EDI patient population, prior to, during and following medical care. This role requires adherence to quality assurance guidelines as well as established productivity standards to support the work unit’s performance expectations.

Requirements

Must be located within 100 miles of the Phoenix, Arizona campus.
On-site requirement is 2 full weeks on-site and 1 full week at home.

Responsibilities

Acts as a liaison between Mayo Clinic and patients meeting criteria for EDI services.
