About The Position

The NCPDP Healthcare EDI Consultant will lead the technical design, development, and implementation of integration solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role focuses on NCPDP EDI transactions, especially the post-adjudication standards PAS53 and PAS45, and on product-based data integration and ETL solutions. The consultant will develop and maintain integrations for healthcare data exchanges and fully support the SDLC for implementing the PAS53 standard in the existing EDI system. The work is mostly remote, with some travel to the client site.

Requirements

• Expertise in NCPDP EDI transactions, especially post-adjudication standards PAS53 and PAS45.
• Experience with SDLC and implementation projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of product-based data integration and ETL solutions.
• Work extensively on NCPDP EDI transactions PAS53 and PAS45.
• Develop and maintain integrations supporting healthcare data exchanges.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and best-practice guidance to development teams.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance data integration workflows.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with healthcare standards.
• Support production deployments and resolve integration-related issues.
• Fully support the SDLC for implementation of the PAS53 standard in the existing EDI system.
