Requirements

2+ years’ experience in Healthcare EDI
Excellent Attendance, Verbal and Written communication skills
Direct Interaction with California Medi-Cal Dental Providers including email, phone conversation etc.
Process reports for EDI and excellent customer service is required on calls
Ability to meet deadlines, keep a positive attitude and work independently, and ability to remain calm under pressure.
Must be a resident of the state of California.

Responsibilities

Enrolls users for transaction submissions and verifies receipt of electronic transmissions; and assists EDI technical staff with Beta testing for system changes as needed
Assists providers, trading partners, and billing agents with electronic 5010 X12 HIPAA batches and real-time transactions; Provides technical assistance to users who are experiencing transmission difficulties.
Review and process Billing Intermediary and Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) enrollment applications according to Medi-Cal Dental-approved enrollment guidelines and other federal requirements and procedures.
Provides EDI/EFT/Billing Intermediary support such as testing, project, reporting, and technical assistance, working with both Gainwell Technologies and State liaison.
