About The Position
An ED Tech is a healthcare professional who assists emergency room doctors and nurses with delivering medical care. ED Techs help keep the emergency room clean and organized and assist with basic patient care. This is a part-time position in the CAH Emergency Room, primarily on the evening shift, with shifts from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and various shifts as needed. The listed base pay range is $22.05–$28.90 per hour, excluding the $5 evening shift differential. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts. Internal candidates must apply via the hospital website. Job award letters provided to internal candidates must be signed and returned to Human Resources within five days of verbal acceptance. Requirements
- Current Basic Life Support certification or certification obtained within six months of hire.
