About The Position

The Executive Director, Strategy, Growth & Performance serves as the senior strategy and growth leader for the entity, responsible for translating enterprise strategic priorities into local market execution while advancing sustainable growth, business development, market expansion, and measurable performance outcomes. This role connects system strategy with entity-level priorities by developing market-informed growth plans, identifying new business and partnership opportunities, evaluating investment priorities, and driving initiatives that expand patient access, strengthen referral channels, improve competitive positioning, and support long-term financial and operational sustainability. Operating within a hybrid system model, the Executive Director partners with system strategy leadership, entity executives, physician leaders, and operational partners to build a disciplined approach to strategy execution, growth planning, and value realization. The role is accountable for ensuring that local market opportunities, service line expansion, strategic partnerships, affiliations, and business development activities are aligned with enterprise governance and investment standards and are tracked against defined outcomes such as market share growth, referral volume, patient access, service line performance, financial contribution, operational readiness, initiative milestones, and realized strategic value.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • 10 years of experience in healthcare strategy, planning, or operations.
  • 7 or more years in a leadership or management role within complex provider organizations.
