The ED Patient Access Representative is responsible for ensuring the completeness and accuracy of patient registration and billing information within the Emergency Department. This role provides essential support to all ED staff and requires the ability to operate effectively in both central and pod/treatment area environments. Key duties include performing full patient registration, obtaining, verifying, and recording personal, demographic, financial, and visit-specific clinical data. The representative must be adept at prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities in a demanding and fast-paced clinical setting. A Quality Assurance score of 95% or greater is expected from all team members in Patient Access Services. This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
