About The Position

Responsible for all Performance Improvement and Education activities/programs within the entity's Emergency Departments. Assures department is competitive based on evidence based practice, quality outcomes & efficiency of care. Performs a leadership role and collaborates with other Hospital leaders to establish and implement department policies and practices. Maintains environment of care (EOC) readiness in the department. Reports and follows-up on inquiries, equipment problems and EOC issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Required
• 5 years experience in clinical Emergency Department role and/or leadership experience Required
• General Experience and knowledge of the Principles of Learning and methods of teaching and professional nursing practice and theory Required
• PA Registered Nurse License Required
• Multi State Compact RN License Required Or

Nice To Haves

• Master's Degree in Nursing, Education, Business Administration or other related area Preferred
