About The Position

Piedmont Walton’s Emergency Department is a fast-paced, high-acuity environment serving patients of all ages as a Level III Trauma Center. With 15 treatment rooms and a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, our team is committed to providing high-quality, timely care while emphasizing strong prioritization, teamwork, and professionalism. Requirements

Graduate from a nursing program
1 year of Emergency Department experience, as a registered nurse (RN)
Experience participating in and/or leading quality and process improvement projects
RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
BCLS - Basic Life Support
ACLS
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree of Nursing
CEN - Certified Emergency Room Nurse

Responsibilities

Responsible for the overall movement of patients through the ED in a safe and efficient manner.
Coordinate all patient care activities.
Serve as a liaison with the ED medical staff to ensure that care can be delivered in an efficient and safe manner.
Appropriately delegate workload.
Act as a role model for teamwork, leadership and professionalism in the ED.
