About The Position

ECS Innovate Overnight Residence Assistants are responsible for assisting in the supervision of ECS Innovate campers in the evenings/overnight and early morning hours in the residence hall. In a student employee capacity, may perform or assist with tasks in support of client-facing events, customer service operations, and/or guest experiences under an established timeline to meet objectives in support of successfully executing events.

• Supervise ECS Innovate campers in the evenings/overnight and early morning hours in the residence hall
• Ensure campers are present in the dorm by 10:00 pm
• Ensure dormitory students are in their rooms by 11:00 pm
• Serve as a point of contact for campers between 11:00 pm and 7:00 am
• Handle emergency procedures (fire, severe weather, shelter in place)
• Provide campers access to their rooms if locked out
• Contact Overnight Assistant Camp Director when needed
• Report student issues or concerns that occurred overnight during morning staff meetings

Responsibilities

• Establish that all campers are present in the dorm by 10:00 pm each evening
• Establish each evening that all dormitory students are present in their own rooms by 11:00 pm (“lights out”)
• Serve as a point of contact for campers between the hours of 11:00 pm and 7:00 am. This includes but is not limited to: Emergency procedures (fire, sever weather, shelter in place, etc.), Providing campers access to their rooms if they are locked out, Contacting Overnight Assistant Camp Director when needed
• When the instructional staff meet for morning staff meetings, the Overnight Residence Assistance will report of any student issues or concerns that occurred overnight
