AnthropicSan Francisco, WA
Hybrid

About The Position

Anthropic's Beneficial Deployments team is dedicated to ensuring AI's benefits reach underserved communities. As the Economic Mobility initiative grows, this role focuses on career pathways in the AI age. The manager will lead Claude Corps, a $150M flagship early career program placing 1,000 fellows with nonprofits for a year, paid full-time. This program, designed with CodePath, aims to become replicable workforce infrastructure. The role also involves expanding talent developer partnerships, like the existing CodePath collaboration that integrates Claude and Claude Code into courses for over 20,000 students. Additionally, the manager will lead workforce deployments on AI Fluency and Claude fluency with national and regional partners to equip workers for the AI transition. This is a program and partnership leadership role with significant global impact, focused on delivering measurable results for millions of people through partners by 2027. The role requires entrepreneurial orchestration, building new programs amidst ambiguity, scaling successful initiatives, and enabling partners to manage mature programs.

Requirements

  • Personally structured and led large, multi-year, multi-stakeholder partnerships — corporate, nonprofit, or public sector — and can speak to outcomes you advanced, not just agreements you signed
  • Operated inside a large or fast-growing company — on a people, talent, or HR team, or as a sponsor of talent and early career programs
  • Real substance in AI fluency, technical training, or learning programs — you have built, deployed, or led training and talent development work, not just advised on it
  • Build well amid ambiguity — you create structure where none exists, adapt quickly when programs shift, and prioritize execution for impact over process
  • Communicate at an executive level — your writing is exec-ready, you are a confident public speaker, and you move fluidly between corporate, nonprofit, and government audiences

Nice To Haves

  • Experience designing learning programs end-to-end
  • An existing network across workforce development, philanthropy, or the public sector
  • Hands-on fluency with Claude — workflows, tools, or assets you have personally built

Responsibilities

  • Lead Claude Corps end-to-end — cohort launches, host organization pipeline, coordination with CodePath, program measurement, and the open-source playbook
  • Develop and close tier-1 partnerships with talent developers, workforce organizations, and philanthropic and public sector partners — from scoping and structuring through deployment, measurement, and scale
  • Deploy AI Fluency workforce development offerings for states and cities, and drive adoption of AI Fluency and Claude fluency training with national and regional partners
  • Orchestrate across functions — working with Anthropic Academy, Economic Research, Applied AI, Policy, Communications, and GTM teams inside Anthropic, and with funders and agencies outside it
  • Understand what works through research and share through open, replicable models the broader workforce field can use

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation
  • Optional equity donation matching
  • Generous vacation
  • Parental leave
  • Flexible working hours
  • Relocation support is available
