The Economic Empowerment VISTA will make meaningful contributions to IRC Denver’s Economic Empowerment programs, advancing our work supporting both near and long-term outcomes of stabilization, poverty reduction, and community integration for refugees and asylees. Requirements

• Openness to working with people from varied backgrounds.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment among dedicated professionals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Must commit to completing 12 months of full-time service beginning September 8, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Drafting programmatic policies and procedures for review by IRC staff.
• Researching and assisting in development of frameworks to monitor programs and outcomes.
• Developing resource-mapping systems.
• Designing surveys or other client feedback tools.
• Reviewing client feedback to increase agency understanding of and ability to be responsive to the communities being served.
• Help further develop systems and monitoring tools.
• Evaluate current programs.
• Analyze data to capture unmet client needs or unreached clients.
• Develop curriculum and program materials.
• Conduct resource mapping.
• Create referral resource banks.
• Provide written reports on recommendations.
