About The Position

The City of Eastvale's Economic Development Division strives to elevate the quality of life in Eastvale through fostering economic growth, prosperity, and stability within the community. It is the Economic Development Team's purpose to develop and implement innovative business and investment attraction, workforce development, and community development programs and initiatives. Additionally, the Division is responsible for collaborating with federal, state, county, and local partners and stakeholders to identify additional revenue-generating opportunities for the City, and supporting activities that can retain talent in the local workforce. The Economic Development Division also manages and leads various special projects and programs that address the City's emerging challenges and support Eastvale's community growth. Requirements

  • No prior experience required. However, some experience (paid or unpaid) related to the area assigned is highly desirable.
  • Two (2) years of college course work at an accredited college or university and current enrollment as a college student, OR graduation from a four (4) year accredited college or university with major course work in Public or Business Administration, or an area related to the Intern position to be assigned.
  • Applicants will be evaluated on the basis of relevant training, education, experience and writing skills as presented in the application, resume, cover letter and supplemental questions.
  • Applicants will be required to submit verification of the legal right to work in the United States.
  • All employees are required by law to sign a loyalty oath to the United States and the State of California Constitution at time of hire.
