About The Position

The eCommerce Web Specialist supports the growth, adoption, and day-to-day effectiveness of Messer's B2B eCommerce Platform (WebShop). This role focuses on customer onboarding, platform adoption initiatives, content and journey optimization, and ongoing digital support activities. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and IT, the role helps identify ideal platform users, supports adoption campaigns, and contributes to continuous improvement of the self-service customer journey. This position offers hands-on exposure to digital commerce, customer enablement, and modern eCommerce platforms in a real B2B environment, providing opportunities to work cross-functionally and gain visibility into how digital tools drive business outcomes, with strong opportunities to learn and grow in analytics, automation, and AI-enabled tools.

Requirements

  • Experience working with SAP ERP
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Comfortable working across multiple systems
  • Openness to learning automation and AI-enabled tools
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Information Systems / Technology
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken, is essential for this role
  • A passion for staying informed about web, mobile, and digital media trends, current and future
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Analytics, HubSpot, SEM Rush and other analytical tools

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce and HubSpot knowledge is an asset
  • Experience with AI-enabled tools; candidates with stronger experience in automation or AI (e.g., Copilot, workflow agents) are encouraged and may grow faster within the role
  • Bilingual would be an asset

Responsibilities

  • Support customer acquisition and adoption initiatives through journey optimization and SEO hygiene
  • Identify ideal customers and assist with onboarding and outreach campaigns
  • Deliver customer and internal training sessions
  • Create tutorials and self-service learning materials
  • Monitor platform performance and identify improvement opportunities
  • Support testing, issue tracking, and coordination with development teams
  • Assist with day-to-day platform operations and inbox management
