About The Position

The Ecommerce Supply & Demand Planner Specialist serves as the operational backbone connecting SellerCloud, Shopify, pricing systems, and merchandising workflows. This role ensures inventory, pricing, and product data flows are accurate, automated, and optimized for a seamless DTC customer experience, playing a central role in forecasting demand, maintaining pricing excellence, investigating anomalies, and ensuring inventory availability aligns with marketing and sales priorities. This role is responsible for improving DTC forecasting accuracy, highlighting out-of-stock risks and opportunities within the product catalog, monitoring returns and fraud trends, and resolving issues that impact merchandising performance. As the key link between Shopify, SellerCloud, Sales, and the broader merchandising team, they safeguard operational integrity while driving margin-focused pricing execution and automated workflows at scale.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in inventory forecasting, sell-through management, or cross-platform merchandising
  • Skilled at interpreting customer behavior and returns trends to inform product decisions
  • Proficient in Shopify, TikTok Shop, and third-party inventory and analytics tools
  • Analytical and detail-oriented with strong knowledge of the eCommerce and consumer goods space
  • Proactive communicator who collaborates across marketing, supply chain, product, and vendor teams
  • Confident managing inventory-related issue resolution and identifying gaps in pricing or product setup
  • Enthusiastic about optimizing the customer experience through accurate inventory and merchandising
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in ecommerce merchandising, inventory planning, or demand forecasting
  • Hands-on experience with Shopify and inventory/order management platforms such as SellerCloud
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into pricing and inventory decisions

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary connection between SellerCloud and Shopify, ensuring accurate syncing of inventory, SKUs, and product data
  • Improve DTC forecasting through weekly and monthly trend analysis, highlighting out-of-stock risks, slow movers, and opportunity products
  • Identify and escalate operational gaps related to pricing, inventory visibility, returns, or product setup
  • Monitor Shopify returns reports and fraud activity, investigating patterns and resolving root causes
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure inventory positions are aligned across wholesale, retail, and DTC
  • Lead pricing execution across DTC channels with a focus on margin quality, consistency, and automation
  • Manage all systems and flows related to out-of-stock handling, including hiding unavailable SKUs and maintaining back-in-stock workflows
  • Monitor SKU anomalies, COGS discrepancies, and product data issues, initiating and tracking resolutions across teams
  • Implement and oversee automated controls that prevent discount stacking, misuse, misconfiguration, or margin erosion
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales to validate discount logic prior to promo launches, ensuring alignment between promo mechanics, pricing rules, and platform automation
  • Partner closely with the Merchandising team to ensure accurate PDP/PLP setup, cross-sells, and product categorization
  • Work with the Sales team to align pricing and inventory strategies across all selling channels, including managing lifepro.com S&OP end-to-end
  • Support Creative, Product, and Marketing teams with real-time inventory insights, pricing risks, and SKU availability
  • Serve as primary owner of Shopify, SellerCloud, and all inventory-related app integrations
  • Build and maintain Shopify Flows for inventory visibility, fraud flags, and automated pricing or tagging logic
  • Produce ongoing reports highlighting forecasting accuracy, out-of-stock risks, returns trends, and pricing issues
  • Analyze sales and product performance to inform data-driven pricing strategy decisions
  • Support leadership with ad hoc analysis on merchandising performance or operational issues
