Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Shipping or related experience preferred
UPS/FedEx/USPS online shipping experience preferred
Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications with proficiency in MS Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail
Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization
Basic reasoning and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently and with a team within a fast paced environment
Demonstrate and promote teamwork on a consistent basis

Responsibilities

Create, process, and pick orders.
Transport Heartland FPG samples between departments and general interoffice mail couriering.
Utilize UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, & other online portals to fulfill order demands.
Promote safety and conduct him/herself in accordance with all safety guidelines at all times.
Prepare documents, such as bills of lading, delivery notes/packing list, and or shipping labels.
Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to enter and process orders.
Review orders to ensure inventory is accurate.
Update product location and pick product via R/F scanner.
Update all outbound orders with freight quotes, using various carriers’ websites.
Prepare international shipping documents.
Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery.
Operate or tend automatic stacking, loading, packaging, or cutting machines.
Complete monthly and annual cycle counts and understand and perform basic inventory control processes/procedures.
Travel to and from Plant, DC, corporate office, and anywhere else the sample orders are needed.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
