Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Shipping or related experience preferred
  • UPS/FedEx/USPS online shipping experience preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications with proficiency in MS Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization
  • Basic reasoning and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team within a fast paced environment
  • Demonstrate and promote teamwork on a consistent basis

Responsibilities

  • Create, process, and pick orders.
  • Transport Heartland FPG samples between departments and general interoffice mail couriering.
  • Utilize UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, & other online portals to fulfill order demands.
  • Promote safety and conduct him/herself in accordance with all safety guidelines at all times.
  • Prepare documents, such as bills of lading, delivery notes/packing list, and or shipping labels.
  • Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to enter and process orders.
  • Review orders to ensure inventory is accurate.
  • Update product location and pick product via R/F scanner.
  • Update all outbound orders with freight quotes, using various carriers’ websites.
  • Prepare international shipping documents.
  • Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery.
  • Operate or tend automatic stacking, loading, packaging, or cutting machines.
  • Complete monthly and annual cycle counts and understand and perform basic inventory control processes/procedures.
  • Travel to and from Plant, DC, corporate office, and anywhere else the sample orders are needed.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
