About The Position

The eCommerce Project Specialist is responsible for supporting Project Management governance across key e-commerce functions to support enterprise outcomes. This role contributes to the operational & tactical efficiencies required by cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise capabilities / experiences on-time while providing leadership with clear visibility into portfolio health.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting project coordination, PMO operations, change management, or workflow/process administration
  • Ability to work independently as a liason to cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to self-motivate, manage a diverse workload, and track multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and presentation skills across internal, external, and client-facing stakeholders.
  • Comfort working with MS Office, Airtable or other project management software an asset
  • University/College degree in a related area of study, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years experience in project and change management
  • Software Development Lifecycle experience (in Agile and Waterfall project methodologies) an asset
  • Knowledge and adherence to Home Depot policies and procedures
  • Strong Microsoft Office and overall PC skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design, establish, and optimize project delivery workflows and intake frameworks to standardize team execution and improve operational efficiency.
  • Organize and facilitate scoping sessions, requirement-gathering workshops, and alignment meetings between business stakeholders and delivery partners.
  • Configure and maintain project management tools (e.g., Airtable or similar systems), building out tracking frameworks, custom views, and automated workflows to ensure data integrity.
  • Keep internal project management tools, dashboards, and delivery systems accurate, updated, and organized to support overall data integrity.
  • Oversee the end-to-end flow of project requests and deliverables, ensuring all initiatives move smoothly through the delivery pipeline from intake to completion.
  • Partner with project leadership to evaluate, vet, and align incoming requests against broader portfolio priorities.
  • Own the administrative upkeep of team and project roadmaps, ensuring timelines, milestones, and target delivery dates accurately reflect active work.
  • Act as the operational bridge between various cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication, shared understanding, and seamless project coordination.
  • Gather, aggregate, and distribute routine status updates across business and technical partners to maintain transparency.
  • Monitor and coordinate additional tactical tasks or special assignments as directed by leadership to support shifting business needs.
