About The Position

This role is responsible for leading an Agile pod and leveraging expertise in user experience research methodologies and best practices, including A/B testing, to drive website growth throughout the entire shopping funnel. The Product Manager will serve as the Growth and Experimentation leader, collaborating closely with engineering, design, analytics, and merchandising partners. The position involves determining eCommerce strategies to build features and capabilities that grow the customer base and improve engagement. The role requires managing a pod of development, analytics, and UX/UI experts to execute experimentation and implement successful outcomes. The Product Manager will own the enhancements and experimentation roadmap, ensuring a robust backlog of ideas aligned with a unified global roadmap to meet the needs of multiple regions. This includes collaborating with digital transformation, regional merchandisers, and Digital IT to plan a cross-functional roadmap. The role also involves translating product strategy into key objectives, feature deliverables, and acceptance criteria for discovery and execution, managing roadmap prioritization, pod capacity, and internal training for new features. A comprehensive understanding of Fossil’s customer and business, along with awareness of competitive products and eCommerce industry trends, is essential to inform product direction. This is a 100% telecommuting role, reporting to company headquarters in Richardson, TX, with the option to work remotely or telecommute fully.

Requirements

  • Product management best practices, including techniques for identifying customer needs, hypothesis-driven roadmaps, prototyping, A/B testing, and user-centered design
  • User experience research methodologies, including A/B testing strategies and implementation
  • A/B test tooling
  • Analyzing project needs and constraints and delivering minimal-viable-product (MVP) to quickly prototype and identify additional requirements
  • Agile environments, including Scrumban
  • Ecommerce tech stack integration
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field of study and 5 years of work experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained.
